A chaos-theoretical human factor evaluation apparatus includes a Liapunov exponent calculator (23) for chaos-theoretically analyzing a speech signal generated by digitizing a speech uttered by a human and calculating a Liapunov exponent and a Liapunov exponent change detector (24) for detecting a change of the Liapunov exponent of the speech calculated by the Liapunov index calculator (23). By calculating the load level in a cerebrum through a change of the Liapunov exponent detected by the Liapunov exponent change detector (24), it is possible to predict and determine a mental/physical activity.
