A water proof movement cum construction joint between segments of aqueduct trough consisting of Leveller putty coating (1) on PVC water bar (4) of suitable width and thickness with central hollow bulb of suitable outer and inner diameter which accommodates the transverse and longitudinal movement up to 10 mm without distortion having central bulb and wings of water to accommodate movement of trough due to expansion, contraction with Gripper on wings, a Clamp plate hole (5) for clamping the PVC water body with gripper effectively and make the joint water tight having Stainless steel securing nut and bolt (2) of suitable length at certain mm c/c for securing components rigidly fixed in concrete which makes it durable, long lasting; a joint filler / spacer (3) bar with 25 mm gap between trough segments to be maintained putting dense bitumen sheet or thermo coal sheet; a joint filler with Joint sealing compound (6) of acrylic base water proof chemical, which fills the air gap at end of water bar and makes the joint more water proof; a joint filler with Cement mortar cover (7) with cement sand mortar and propylene fibre on the joint assembly which protects the water bar and fills the open face of template up to the inner concrete profile of trough segment; and a joint filler with Concrete template groove (9) provided to accommodate the joint assembly.
