METHOD FOR ASSESSING RISK OF ATHEROSCLEROSIS-DEPENDENT CARDIOVASCULAR COMPLICATIONS IN PATIENTS WITH SYSTEMIC LUPUS ERYTHEMATOSUS

摘要

A method for assessing the risk of atherosclerosis-dependent cardiovascular complications in the patients with systemic lupus erythematosus provides for the assessment of non-traditional risk factors such as inflammatory and immunological as well as the state of the vascular walls of the carotid arteries assuring high sensitivity and specificity in the patients at the age below 50 with the chronic course of the disease.
