Reproducing apparatus for reproducing data corresponding: either to a recordable medium (RAM) that can record data therein and that reproduces data already recorded thereon, wherein: said data is recorded on said recordable media as a sequence of used blocks, each as a recording / reproducing cluster (RUB) information; each of said blocks has a data format including a data input that acts as buffer area front end, a cluster comprising a plurality of successive frame including, each, synchronization data RAM plus main data, and a data output serving as intermediate storage area of rear end, each element of the synchronization data RAM being separated, within the plurality of successive frames, with respect to an adjacent element synchronization data RAM, by a uniform space between frames; said input data and said output data at a boundary between any two consecutive of said blocks blocks form a linking area within which three additional elements of said synchronization data RAM (S1, S2, S3) so provided additional elements that synchronization data in RAM area link are not regularly spaced from each other by said uniform inter-frame space; and each data element comprises a RAM timing synchronization and ID synchronization body, selecting the ID of synchronization between a first set of synchronization ID; and as a recording medium read-only (ROM) to record read-only data as a sequence of blocks, used, each as a unit of recording / reproducing information, wherein: each of said blocks has a data input that acts as buffer area front end, a cluster comprising a plurality of successive frames each including one, synchronization data ROM besides main data and a data output which acts as a buffer area of rear end; said blocks are recorded on said recording medium read-only data format that includes at least data items synchronization ROM (S3, SA) recorded in separate locations from each other in said areas buffer front end and rear end, which are respectively assigned to said input data and said output data at a boundary between two consecutive blocks any of said blocks, by a regular distance equal in length to a uniform between frames between data space ROM timing in said successive frames; and each data element synchronization ROM comprises a synchronization ID and synchronizing body, and at least one element of synchronization data ROM recorded in these areas buffer front end and rear end, the ID synchronization is a synchronization differentiated ID 45 not present in the first set of synchronization ID; said reproducing apparatus comprising: reading means (51) for reading information from recording media mounted thereon; means for determining whether recording media mounted on said reproduction apparatus is said recordable medium or said recording medium read-only; means for detecting said synchronization data in order to detect said synchronization data RAM whether recording media mounted on said reproduction apparatus is said recordable medium, and to detect said synchronization data ROM if the recording media mounted on said playback apparatus are said recording medium read-only; decoding means data (59) to perform a process of frame synchronization and 60 decoding process data on the basis of sync data detected from information read by said reading means from said supports mounted recording; and means for decoding addresses (57) to perform a process of detecting frame address on the basis of sync data detected from information read by said reading means 65 from said mounted recording medium; in which, for each of said blocks, said three additional elements of said synchronization data RAM (S1, S2, S3) include a first (S1) and second (S2) further elements of said synchronization data RAM are positioned within the data input of that block, the decoding means data (59) being configured to perform the process of frame synchronization for said recordable medium using the data input in order to incorporate a clock signal PLL and then using the first (S1) and second (S2) further elements of said synchronization data RAM in combination with the synchronization data RAM of a first frame grouping of that block to incorporate the plot.
