Thus, the object of this invention is a process for refurbishing used, aesthetically obsolete beverage and packaged goods vending machines of various types to produce a uniform structural appearance and ensure uninterrupted, vandal-proof operation. The process is characterised in that after all electronic and electrical connections on the vending machine to be refurbished have been suspended, the original door is removed, then all original functional and decorative elements projecting outward from the plane of the door's exterior side are removed, as well. Next, the original door is equipped - on-site, if necessary/desired - with an NFD door-refurbishment kit, containing, as primary structural units, a mechanically and electrically pre-assembled and packaged NFD door profile, NFD superstructure, and NFD footing structure, along with various necessary fastening elements and other electrical connections.
