In a parallel computer (1A) of the present invention having a plurality of computation nodes (50) which distribute computation jobs to execute the jobs in parallel and a management node (60) for managing the plurality of computation nodes, the computation nodes (50) are each provided with a computation-side holding unit (14) for holding a plurality of generations of job information acquired by the nodes, and the management node (60) is provided with a management-side holding unit (34) for holding a plurality of generations of job information gathered by each of the computation nodes (50); whereby the management node (60) uses the plurality of generations of job information held by the computation-side holding units (14) of each of the computation nodes (50) to guarantee an accurate snapshot of the computation jobs in execution at the parallel computer (1A).
