Provided are a data recovery control method, node, control apparatus and disaster tolerance system. The control apparatus is capable of collecting inter-region data transmission performance indicator during the process of data recovery; the control apparatus determines the inter-region network congestion level according to the performance indicator; when the congestion level exceeds a preset congestion control threshold, the control apparatus reduces the number of nodes simultaneously recovering data via the inter-region network in a first region. The present invention can reasonably utilize the inter-region network bandwidth during the process of data recovery, avoid the deterioration of data transmission efficiency due to network congestion, thus reducing the time required for disaster recovery.
