The invention relates to a method and a device for producing X-ray images of objects, according to which artefacts caused by scattered radiation are corrected. To this end, a temporally variable modulation of the primary radiation is carried out, where a set of initial amplitude-modulated modulation projections of the object is produced respectively, and a scattered image associated with the respective modulation projection is calculated respectively. The invention is especially suitable for rapid CT scans.
