The arm has a boom arm provided with a boom foot (6) connected to a carrier of a vehicle and a boom nose. A tool (9) is fixed to an end of a rocker (8). The boom arm comprises a removable telescopic extension piece (7) inserted between the foot and the nose and respectively coupled to the foot and the nose by a removable non articulated link (13) at a locking axle transversal to the boom arm. The extension piece is formed with tubular elements (15A-15C) fittingly mounted to slide between a retracted position and an extension position of the extension piece for varying length of the boom arm.
