The present invention relates to a method for painterly rendering based on the painting procedure of a painter, wherein the logical procedure of painting by a computer can be implemented to obtain images that are the same as those painted directly by a human, the method being characterized in that it comprises the steps of: (a) obtaining a plurality of objects to be expressed using a painterly technique, and providing same to a user; (b) providing one of the objects selected by the user from among the plurality of objects; (c) considering a point at which an error is made shown in the procedure of painting a painting to be a parameter, and repeatedly performing a stroke so as to transform the selected object into a painterly image; (d) confirming whether a stop-stroke order by the user is inputted while the step of transforming the object into a painterly image is being performed; (e) performing final strokes corresponding to the time or the final strokes corresponding to the number programmed previously in accordance with whether the stop-stroke order by the user is inputted, so as to complete the transformation of the object into a painterly image; and (f) inputting the signature from the user and marking the inputted signature on the transformed painterly image.
