PURPOSE: A producing method of 2-hydroxy-3,5,4-trimethoxychalcone, and the 2-hydroxy-3,5,4-trimethoxychalcone are provided to control the activity of NF-B` induced by a tumor necrosis factor-alpha.;CONSTITUTION: A producing method of 2-hydroxy-3,5,4-trimethoxychalcone marked with chemical formula 1 comprises the following steps: dissolving 2-hydroxy-4-methoxyacetophenone and 3,5-dimethoxybenzaldehyde in ethanol; adding a 50% KOH solution into the mixed solution at 3-5 deg C: stirring the mixed solution for 15-20 hours, and cooling at 3-6 deg C: and adding a 3N HCl solution into the cooled solution.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2012
