PURPOSE: A communication system, packet network therefor, and method thereof are provided to offer additional service for packet based voice communication in a packet network by using the infra of a circuit network. CONSTITUTION: A session controller(120) connects a session between a calling terminal connected with a packet network(100) and terminals including a reception terminal. An additional service controller(110) confirms an additional service which is able to be provided to the terminal in the session. The additional service controller provides the confirmed additional service to the terminal by interlocking additional service devices(220-250) in a circuit network(200).
