PURPOSE: An ecological driving inducing apparatus based on the tendency of a driver and a method for the same are provided to optimally induce ecological driving by generating the tendency profile of the driver with real-time driving data.;CONSTITUTION: An ecological driving inducing apparatus based on the tendency of a driver includes a first storing unit(11), a driving data collecting unit(12), a road data collecting unit(13), a tendency profile generating unit(14), a second storing unit(15), a controlling unit(16), and an outputting unit(17). The first storing unit stores driving data accumulated by each road. The driving data collecting unit collects driving data. The road data collecting unit collects road data. The tendency profile generating unit generates tendency profile based on the driving data and road data. The second storing unit stores a standard profile for ecological driving.
