PURPOSE: An undersea robot management system and a method thereof are provided to perform driving and removing tasks because an undersea robot senses an emergency state such as a shut-off of external power and hybrid power is supplied even in the emergency state.;CONSTITUTION: An undersea robot management system comprises hybrid power supply unit(220), a buoyant unit(240), a propulsion unit(250), and a control unit(270). The hybrid power supply unit supplies external power transmitted through a cable from a mother ship. In case of a shut-off of the external power, the hybrid power supply unit supplies emergency power by connecting an embedded battery. The buoyant unit expands a tube(242) in the emergency state, thereby floating an undersea robot(200) on the water surface. The propulsion unit transfers the undersea robot using one or more propeller. The control unit figures out a throwing position and controls the propeller so that the robot returns to the throwing position in the emergency state.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2012
