PURPOSE: A device for controlling overload of raw materials on a conveyor belt and a method thereof are provided to manage a current resistance value of a driving motor actuating a belt conveyor in the excess of a spectral generation rate, thereby preventing a chute blockage or the overload on the belt conveyor in advance.;CONSTITUTION: A device for controlling overload of raw materials on a conveyor belt comprises the next step. A height of ore moving on a belt conveyor(440) by being inserted into through a sinter bin(410) is measured. A current resistance value of a driving motor driving the belt conveyor is measured. Whether the or on the belt conveyor is overloaded or not is decided by using the height of the ore and the current resistance value of the driving motor. The vibration of a sinter screen(460) selecting the ore is stopped when an overloaded state of the belt conveyor is decided. An insertion amount of the ore is reduced by controlling a bin gate being installed in the sinter bin. The vibration of the sinter screen in a pause state is reactivated.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2012
