PURPOSE: Method and system for transferring contents based on a multi-source multicast are provided to transmit effective packets in a network to a reception node by combining packets based on a multicast group. CONSTITUTION: A source node creates packets by dividing original content(S101). The source node transmits the created packets to a network node and a reception node(S103). The network node classifies the packets(S105). The network node encodes the network of the classified packets(S107). The network node transmits the encoded network of the packets(S109). The reception node restores the original content using the received packets(S111).
