PURPOSE: A hydraulic mechanical transmission is provided to increase the efficiency of the device by adjusting the position of clutches and be driven through small torque.;CONSTITUTION: A hydraulic mechanical transmission(110) comprises a primary input shaft(111), a hydraulic static transmission unit(112), a secondary input shaft(115), a power transmission, and an output shaft(117). The primary input shaft is connected to the output part of an engine(200). The hydraulic static transmission unit is connected to the primary input shaft and controls the strength of driving force output by controlling inner hydraulic force. The secondary input shaft is connected to the output part of the hydraulic static transmission unit. The power transmission is installed in the primary input shaft and composed of a speed reduction unit(116) and a dual clutch(119). The speed reduction unit is composed of a plurality of gears. The dual clutch is connected to the speed reduction unit and has a HST(Hydraulic Static Transmission) mode and a HMT(Hydro-Mechanical Transmission) mode. The HST mode is applied for transferring only the driving force of the secondary input shaft to the speed reduction unit.
