FIELD: chemistry.;SUBSTANCE: substances are transferred from a sample (plant material) into a solution followed by voltammetric determination, which is carried out using an indicator glassy-carbon electrode relative a saturated silver chloride electrode on the background of a 0.1 mol/l phosphate buffer (pH=6.86) and then recording anode peaks with direct-current form of potential sweep at a rate of 0.04 V/s. Concentration of total content of flavonoids in plant material is determined from the height of the anode peak oxidation peak of the substances at potential ranging from +0.1 V to +0.5 V relative a saturated silver chloride electrode. The region of the determined content of total amount of flavonoids ranges from 1·10-5 g/ml to 1·10-4 g/ml.;EFFECT: high sensitivity, rapidness, reduced labour input and cost of determining total content of flavonoids in the plant material.;2 ex, 1 dwg, 1 tbl
