MOBILE TOWED TEST BENCH FOR DIAGNOSTICS, ADJUSTMENTS, REPAIR AND ASSEMBLY OF AUTOMOTIVE WHEEL BRAKES

FIELD: transport.;SUBSTANCE: invention relates to automotive diagnostics. Proposed towed test bench comprises adjustable chassis dynamometers for every wheel and incorporates mobile platform and enclosed set of equipment including diesel-generator, dual-motor for excitation of generator and traction motor windings, rheostat to dissipate electric power from generator mode of traction motors, hydraulic aggregate to lift aforesaid platform from soil, and dual chassis dynamometers. The latter have vernier measuring plates for lengthwise and crosswise travel of DC drives for every wheel. Driving chassis dynamometers are equipped with tracks with strain gages, side cheeks with strain gages to embrace tires from inside furnished with annular contact brush devices of every track and cheek to transmit and measure strain gage signal on oscillograph with help of PC. Second chassis dynamometers with no mechanical linkage with driving chassis dynamometers are equipped with electric brake coupling.;EFFECT: higher mobility and accuracy.;6 dwg
