The device has multiple thread guides (2, 3, 4) cooperatively controlling a deflection of a thread (1) and acted upon a load cell (6). A zero-point and a measuring range are set and adjusted at the device with a preset potentiometer, push buttons and a digital electronic circuit by a display. Two threshold values of an output signal, the zero-point and a measuring range end are displayed on the device. Power transmission determined from the deflection of the thread is supplied and held with digital switching unit at the sensor. A carrier geometrically determines the deflection of thread.
