The ship has a platform (7) formed from a hull and arranged at a ship side (1). An accessible region of the platform comprises a transparent platform part (2), where the transparent platform part is made of glasses. The platform is provided with a framework structure and a railing-like side wall. The platform is designed as a glass passage. The transparent platform part is integrated in a compartment of the framework structure. The platform is suspended by ropes (9), and anchored pillars are provided on the hull.
