The vehicle-seat has a lower rail (2) and an upper rail (1), where the upper rail is adjusted in a longitudinal direction relative to the lower rail. A catch (7A) is provided for limiting rotation or deflecting the upper rail in a crash fall. The catch is arranged and formed to one of the lower rail and the upper rail.
