The system has tools connected with a terminal axle (12) of a robot (10), and a sensor element i.e. path sensor, fixedly connected with the robot. The tools are connected with the robot by a mechanical connection element e.g. form-fit element (18) and force transfer element (20). Force is transferred from the tools to the sensor element at a mounted state of the tools by the force transfer element. The tools comprise a gripper element, and are transferred to the robot by rotation between a holding position and a releasing position.
