The motor car (10') has a rear window shelf (12') separable by an operator. A moving element (16) and a drive (18) for moving the moving element are integrated into the shelf. A drive control device (42) for the drive is integrated into the shelf. A control element (22) for moving the moving element is arranged outside of the shelf. A central control device (20') is coupled with the control element and coupled with the drive control device over contacts (30', 32') at the shelf.
