The module has an actuator body (15) comprising electrode layers (17) that are arranged between ceramic layers (16). An intermediate space (32) is formed an outer side (26) of the actuator body and a metallic case (30). The intermediate space is partially filled with resilient casting material (33), which partially encloses the outer side of the actuator body. A boundary surface (35) is partially formed on an electrically insulating isolation layer in a region of the outer side of the body. The boundary surface is not-planarized in a transition region between the outer side and the case.
