The method involves guiding sheet metal parts (2) from a component manufacturing system (3) to a measuring system (4), where the sheet metal parts are measured in the measuring system at a working cycle of a production line (1). The production line is provided with a component manufacturing system and the measuring system, and the working cycle is ranged less than 3 seconds. The sheet metal parts are manufactured in an extrusion process and connected with each other after laying the manufacturing system over a bar (9) and detached by a separating tool and stopped by an instruction aid.
