Molded part comprises carbon fibers and a hardened matrix material containing at least one acrylic resin and at least one polylactide. An independent claim is also included for manufacturing the molded part comprising (a) providing a molding tool and/or a base body, (b) optionally disposing carbon fibers or carbon fiber mats in the molding tool and/or the base body, (c) adding and/or applying a viscous matrix material into the molding tool and/or to the base body by pouring, injecting, coating, spraying or dipping, and (d) hardening the matrix material using UV-light and/or heating, where the matrix material comprises at least one acrylic resin and at least one polylactide.
