The seat has a compensation spring (27) arranged parallel to an axis (A) and acting with a fitting (10) between structural parts (15, 16), where one of structural parts is swingable around the axis. The compensation spring is designed as a torsion spring and operative between one of the structural parts on a side of the seat and the other structural part on another side of the seat by a gear stage (25), which comprises a toothed segment (21), which is connected on a side of the seat in a fixed manner.
