Method for controlling driving dynamics of e.g. passenger car, involves evaluating stability of current dynamics state of vehicle, and performing stabilization measurement when evaluated stability is not sufficient
The method involves dividing stationary parameters correlating with a steady state of the vehicle and intermittent parameters correlating with intermittent processes of the vehicle depending on variance of associated actual values. Nominal and actual values for current driving dynamics state of the vehicle are determined based on the stationary and intermittent parameters. Stability of the current vehicle dynamics state is determined by comparing the nominal and actual values. The stability is evaluated, and a stabilization measurement is performed when the stability is not sufficient.
