The handle has a handle piece (2) completely made of a timber material i.e. solid wood, and comprising four flat handle sides (3). The handle piece comprises a rectangular cross-section and a planar top surface (7). A right hand side (11) and a left hand side (12) of the handle piece are connected with a lower side (9) of the handle piece and curved at a region that is opposite to the lower side along a longitudinal axis (8) of the handle piece. The handle piece is symmetrically constructed along the longitudinal axis. An independent claim is also included for a golf putter comprising a racket head.
