Plastic material for preparing equipments for processing and/or production of food product, comprises a thermoplastic polymer and a particulate additive able to disturb a magnetic field, where the mixture of the polymer and the additive is apt to contact food. An independent claim is included for the equipment for processing and/or producing food product, preferably cheese, such as tank, mold and cheese block mold, coagulation basin and micro-basin, draining or refining platform, molding or draining tray, refining board and basket, supporting foot, blade for slicing curd, splint, identification plate, molding ladle, scraper and sterilization plate, the surfaces of these equipments intended to come into contact with the food product, made or containing a coating of plastic material.
