The support has two L-shaped vertical plates (10, 20) rigidly fixed on one another by superposition of trapezoidal shaped main parts (11, 21) of the plates. Side parts (12, 22) of the plates are arranged opposite to the main parts of the plates. The side parts of the plates are superimposed such that the plates are fixed on one another to form a U-shaped wheel supporting part, where thickness of a central part of the supporting part is doubled compared to two side parts of the supporting part. Openings (10A-10D, 20A-20D) are formed in the central part of the supporting part. An independent claim is also included for a vehicle.
