A cricket training device comprising a support frame 2, a rope with a first end attached to the support and a cricket ball 7 attached to a second end of the rope. The frame 2 may have a pair of supports joined to form an A shape, be designed to be free standing and be adjustable in length. The rope may be attached to the support frame by a ring which is free to swivel around the frame. In use a user can repeatedly practice cricket shots on the ball 7 which will move back and forth in a pendulum type motion.
