PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for sterilizing leathers, capable of eliminating not only dirt but also odors adhering to a pair of shoes without damaging the shoes, and effectively eliminating general microorganisms and also causative microorganisms of athlete's foot.;SOLUTION: A method for sterilizing leathers includes: a cleaning process of spraying an alkali cleaning agent containing a liquid enzyme detergent and hydrogen peroxide to an object (the inside of each of shoes) with a sprayer; a neutralizing process of neutralizing and cleaning the inside of the shoes by spraying a hydrochloric acid, a sulfuric acid or hydrofluoric acid water each of which is diluted; a dispersing process of injecting ozone water into the shoes to disperse them for a short time (5-60 seconds) and wiping them; and a sterilizing process for putting the shoes into a dryer equipped with an ozone gas generator to effectively disinfect spores or fungal spores of miscellaneous germs remaining in the shoes, such as Trichophyton fungus.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT
