PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve such problems that conventional shape-stabilizing processing significantly deteriorates feeling of a product as compared to the product before the treatment, is dangerous because a reactive gas is used, and also is not recommended because the processing gives a large load to environment.;SOLUTION: A shape-stabilized apparel product is produced by the steps of: bringing at least a surface of a fiber of an apparel product into contact with a treatment liquid containing a substance that contains a heat or photothermal reactive functional group (A) and a functional group (B) that reacts with an active hydrogen group, and a solvent, to react them, and forming a reactive organic coating film (single molecular film) on the surface of the fiber; and heating the fibers to crosslink the organic coating films to each other at contact parts between the fibers.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT
