PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a red pigment dispersion for a color filter, the dispersion having excellent dispersibility and dispersion stability and meeting requirements for high luminance and a high contrast, and to provide a red photosensitive resin composition for a color filter, from which a color layer having high luminance and a high contrast can be formed.SOLUTION: The red pigment dispersion for a color filter comprises a diketopyrrolopyrrole red pigment, a sulfonated derivative of a yellow pigment, a pigment dispersant and a solvent. The pigment dispersant comprises a grafted copolymer containing, as copolymer components, a monomer having an ethylenically unsaturated double bond and an amino group, and a macromonomer having a polymer chain and an ethylenically unsaturated double bond at a terminal of the chain, in which at least a part of an amino group derived from the monomer having an ethylenically unsaturated double bond and an amino group forms a salt together with an organic acid compound. The red photosensitive resin composition for a color filter contains the above pigment dispersion.
