PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a planar world map in which all partition bodies on a map face have mutually an equal area.;SOLUTION: On a globe in which a spherical surface is separable from a spherical main body and is expressed by describing a spherical world map on the spherical surface, first the spherical surface is divided into a plurality of belt-like bodies in a parallel direction to the equator. Next, belt-like body equal partition lines are written equally in a spherical direction orthogonal to the equator for each belt-like body to form partition bodies. The number of the belt-like body equal partition lines is reduced by one for each advance of the belt-like body in a pole direction and the number and width of the belt-like bodies are appropriately obtained so that all of the partition bodies have mutually the same area. Then, the spherical surface is separated from the spherical main body for each belt-like body and is adhered on a planar surface. A planar world map which is created by the above-described steps has the partition bodies with equal areas, the number of longitude lines is decremented by one for each advance of one partition from the equator to the pole direction, and the number of the longitude lines becomes 0 (zero) when reaching a pole.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT
