PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a carrier for electrostatic charge development preventing aggregation of toner for electrostatic charge development.SOLUTION: A carrier for electrostatic charge development includes magnetic particles with a circularity of 0.950 or more and 0.990 or less and a volume particle size distribution satisfying a relationship of following formula (1):1.5≤(C-A)/(A-B)≤3.5, and a coating resin layer coating the magnetic particles. In the formula (1), A represents a peak particle size (μm) in the volume particle size distribution, B represents a minimum particle size (μm) of particle sizes at frequency of 2% in the volume particle size distribution, and C represents a maximum particle size (μm) of particle sizes at frequency of 2% in the volume particle size distribution.
