P To stably provide a crosslinked product of a poly-γ - L-glutamic acid and having a desired quality. PSOLUTION: The crosslinked product of the poly-γ - L-glutamic acid has a structure of the poly-γ - L glutamic acid molecules crosslinked with each other. The quality of the crosslinked product of the poly-γ - L-glutamic acid obtained therefrom is stabilized without causing ununiformity among lots when the crosslinked products are produced and because the poly-γ - L glutamic acid is composed only of L-glutamic acid.
