PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a landscape design support system satisfying the preference of a client, and easily performing selection of landscape members such as plants while giving consideration to characteristics of plants. PSOLUTION: This landscape design support system is provided with: a landscape implementation condition-storing means in which landscape implementation condition data for achieving a garden by a garden model based on a previously decided theme is stored for each theme; a landscape member characteristic-storing means in which characteristic data of landscape members to be used for landscaping is stored; a site location data-inputting means which inputs site location environment data of a site to be landscaped; a theme selecting means which selects a theme of a garden to be achieved; a member selecting means which selects landscape members by outputting the landscape implementation condition data of a garden theme selected with the theme selecting means, from the landscape implementation condition-storing means, specifying landscape members satisfying the landscape implementation condition data with reference to the landscape member characteristic-storing means, and further specifying from the specified landscape members, landscape members satisfying a landscape implementation condition based on the input site location environment data; and a display means which displays information of the landscape members selected by the member selecting means.
