PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dried flower picture which is of such a high quality that it can well represent a vivid primary color of a flowering plant by inhibiting color change and color deterioration during drying and can maintain a vivid color tone of the primary color for a long time. PSOLUTION: The dried flower picture can be manufactured by the following procedures. A half-dried flower which has about 50 to 70% moisture content and remains half-dry is arranged on a mount around which a cushioning member is wound with a narrow strip of cloth, the surface of the mount being colored by rubbing a pigment. Then, the half-dried flower is held by a damp-proof sheet, such as a transparent hard plate and an aluminum foil together with a desiccating agent and a deoxidization agent.
