PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a piezoelectric/electrostrictive porcelain composition capable of manufacturing a piezoelectric/electrostrictive body and a piezoelectric/electrostrictive part exhibiting excellent piezoelectric/electrostrictive characteristic even without containing lead (Pb). PSOLUTION: In the piezoelectric/electrostrictive porcelain composition consisting essentially of a binary system solid solution represented by general formula (1) (1-n)(AgSB1-a-b-c/SBLiSBa/SBNaSBb/SBKSBc/SB)(NbSB1-x-y-z/SBTaSBx/SBSbSBy/SBVSBz/SB)OSB3/SB+nMSP1/SPMSP2/SPOSB3/SB(wherein 0a0.2, 0b0.95, 0c0.95, 0(1-a-b-c)1, 0x0.5, 0y0.2, 0z0.2, 0y+z0.3 and 0n0.2), MSP1/SPand MSP2/SPmake a combination of metal elements satisfying a prescribed condition.
