PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a DC/DC converter device capable of reducing the cases, where driving of a switching element is stopped intermittently. PSOLUTION: The DC/DC converter device is provided with an overvoltage protection function with respect to a primary voltage V1 and a secondary voltage V2, i.e. a function of stopping voltage conversion in the DC/DC converter, caused by intermittent stop of driving of an arm switching element. The DC/DC converter device sets a second decision time T2d which decides the operation of the overvoltage protection function with respect to the secondary voltage V2, to be not less than a first decision time T1d for deciding the operation of the overvoltage protection functions with respect to the primary voltage V1 (T1dT2d).
