P To provide an aqueous ink for inkjet recording capable of printing ON a non-water-absorbing recording medium with high picture quality. PSOLUTION: The aqueous ink for inkjet recording to print ON a heated recording medium contains at least the following four kinds of components: (A) a pigment covered with a water-insoluble resin, (b) an ink-soluble resin in an amount of ≥ 2% and ≤ 10% as a solid component, (c) a water-soluble organic solvent selected from glycol ethers and 1,2-alkanediols and (d) a silicone-based or fluorine-based surfactant.
