PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and apparatus for applying ink to the upper inclined surface of a floor material at a high speed, a method of producing the floor material to which the ink is already applied, and the floor material to which the ink is already applied by the method of producing the floor material to which the ink is already applied. PSOLUTION: The ink applying apparatus 10 includes: a plurality of conveying rollers 31 for supporting and conveying the floor material 11; a solution applying roll 32 for applying a solution 28 having affinity to the ink 27 to the chamfered part 21a of the floor material 11 conveyed by the conveying rollers 31 and a floor material upper surface 21 near it; a water absorbing roll 33 for raking off the solution 28 remaining on the upper surface 21 of the floor material 11 in the solution 28 applied by the solution applying roll 32; and an ink applying means 34 for applying the ink 27 to the solution 28 applied to the chamfered part 21a. The ink applying means 34 has a 2-stage printing plate barrel 35 which is freely turnably supported and applies the ink 27 attached on the outer peripheral surface to the solution 28 on the chamfered part 21a.
