PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To retrieve a musical piece according with a demand of a user without performing complicated operation. PSOLUTION: The musical piece retrieval reproduction device 1 includes: an impression word storage means 32 ordering a plurality of impression words by numerical values and storing them; an impression data storage means 33 storing the impression word related to a musical piece associatively to an identifier corresponding to the musical piece about each of a plurality of musical pieces; a control means 20 storing a prescribed impression word as a reproduction impression word; a reproduction music selection means 23 acquiring one identifier corresponding to the stored reproduction impression word from the impression data storage means 33 according to a reproduction music selection instruction of the control means 20, and reading the musical piece associated to the one identifier from a musical piece storage means 31; and an input means 10 for making the user select a command for changing the impression word stored as the reproduction impression word.
