PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To determine a degree of recommendation to a user according to a channel broadcasting a program. PSOLUTION: A program recommendation apparatus is provided with: a program information acquisition part for acquiring data of an electronic program guide including program information of a plurality of programs; a liking information generation part for generating liking information from the program information of programs recorded by a recording part, wherein the liking information has information including words, genres and channels included in the program information; and a recommendation degree calculation part for calculating degrees of recommendation of programs according to the program information of programs included in the program electronic program guide acquired by the program information acquisition part and the liking information.
