PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an oxygen gas blowing-lance which has high durability and can use at much times in comparison with the conventional lance and contributes to cut-down of the production cost and also, to provide a method for desiliconize-treatment of molten iron, using this blowing-lance.;SOLUTION: This oxygen gas blowing-lance 1 for refining is the one for blowing the oxygen gas into the molten metal which has a double tube structure composed of an inner tube 2 and an outer tube 3 and blows the oxygen gas from the inner tube and blows hydrocarbon gas from a gap between the inner tube and the outer tube and coats Al₂O₃-MgO-base monolithic refractory containing 5-30 mass% MgO on the outer periphery of the outer tube. Further, the method for desiliconize-treatment of the molten iron, is performed, with which the oxygen gas blowing-lance for refining is dipped into the molten iron and the silicon in the molten iron is oxidized and removed by blowing the oxygen gas into the molten iron from the blowing-lance.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
