PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make the periods of positive and negative voltages differ by a circuit configuration increasing no cost in an image-developing bias-voltage generating circuit, to output pulses having a blank period and to improve a developing characteristic.;SOLUTION: The image-developing bias-voltage generating circuit has a transformer T1 and a capacitor C1 connected in series at one end of a primary winding. The image-developing bias-voltage generating circuit further has a switching element Q1 turning on or off a voltage applied at the other end Ta of the primary-side winding for the transformer T1 and the switching element Q2 for switching the voltage of the other end Ta to a reference (GND) potential. The image-developing bias-voltage generating circuit further has the switching element Q3 turning on or off the voltage applied at one end Tb of the primary winding for the transformer T1 and the switching element Q4 switching the voltage of one end Tb to the reference (GND) potential. The image-developing bias voltage generating circuit further has a control section independently controlling the voltage Va applied to the switching element Q1 and the voltage Vb applied to the switching element Q3 and independently turning on or off each of the switching elements Q1, Q2, Q3 and Q4.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
