The invention proposes a biocompatible polymer conjugated to blood coagulation factor VIII (FVIII) by means of one or more cysteine residues via an appropriate linker attached to the reduced FVIII disulfide bond, as well as pharmaceutical compositions comprising said conjugated FVIII forms.
